We can’t say we were really expecting this, but Germany-based chip tuner RaceChip has announced a 25% off Black Friday deal that will run from Thanksgiving through until Cyber Monday. First founded in 2008, the firm focuses on both diesel and gas powered turbocharged engines, offering varying levels of tuning upgrades that will boost horsepower and torque output between roughly 30 and 60 horsepower and lb-ft depending on the selected configuration. Covering a broad range of brands and engines including BMW, VW, Ford, Volvo, Honda, Toyota, and others, one of the more interesting and practical details of the tuning options from RaceChip is the fact that even their entry-level kits offers multiple tuning maps. As you work your way up the scale, smartphone app integration is also available (as a $50 adder), which does make hopping between maps, and even turning programming off into an effortless process.
